Quick..Efficient..Affordable! These guys show up on time, they are careful with your stuff, they wrap up everything properly and don't waste a minute. I needed help moving heavy items from my house into another house across the street, these guys showed up and didn't stop working for 2 hours straight! I was nervous about the walls as I had them just recently painted, but both Kevin and Merv were pros, they navigated the halls properly and were very efficient with the way they brought stuff in and out. What can I say, this moving company is Awesome. Things in life happen for a reason. It was just by chance that I met the owner of the company in a time when my wife and I were getting ready to move. Demetrice and his company are such great people, salt of the earth. The team loaded our house up on a Sunday and moved our belongings into our new home the next day. They worked so hard, carefully and professionally. We moved to a condo on the 7th floor. Yep, lots of elevator time. Our last two elevator loads got stuck on the elevators (they broke down). It took an hour or so for someone to reset the elevators. The guys had been with us all day and they were tired. I tried to send them home not knowing when the elevator would be prepared. They said to me "we won't leave until the job is done and you are happy and satisfied." Moving is stressful and exhausting but Hall Brothers Moving made it more than tolerable. I can’t say enough wonderful things about this crew. They were polite, on time, pleasant to work with. They were very thorough with everything. I even had one gentleman help me pack up my pantry as it was still on my to do list. There were no hidden fees, the amount was exactly what they said on the phone. They were fast too. I decide to go with this company based on reviews, but also like the idea of 4 men team. I think if you only hire two guys it will take longer and be more expensive. This was four guys 4 hours and then a fee for the 2nd truck, but they were done in the 4 hours. I had a 4 bedroom house to pack up so needless to say I expected it to be longer and be charged extra, but not the case. This is a professional team that enjoy their job. Great service and attention to detail. Careful and courteous. 10/10. Will use again. I called to have a refrigerator moved from our friends house to ours. They took the time to remove the handles, wrap it in blankets to prevent scratching, lay down floor protection where the fridge would be resting, and move and replace all the furniture and decor items that may have been in the way as they moved through the house. Once they got to my house they ended up having to take the doors and drawer off of the fridge, but it took a few tries to come up with this solution. Demetrice and Chino were so professional and patient through a frustrating process. They were cautious, professional and handled every step with care and consideration. I was totally amazed. I needed the service on short notice and they were so helpful to get it done. The movers showed up on time and efficiently wrapped and moved the entire 1 Br condo in no time flat. Pedro & Gino were courteous and took great care of the furniture. It started raining and they wrapped the items double so as not to get wet and worked so hard in the rain, stacked everything compactly in the storage unit to save space. We had a moving company no call no show on a Sunday. I called Hall Brother’s Sunday evening. They scheduled 3 great men to come out the next day. We were moving from Illinois to Florida, and had a terrible experience with PODS. Long story short, our POD was supposed to be delivered from Pinellas Park to Orlando, and because we missed one signature, they cancelled our order and didn't tell us! We already booked flights to move on a Friday, and PODS said the soonest they could get our things to us was by the following Friday. We found Hall Brothers on Google maps, and they are literally just down the road from PODS. They gave us a quote instantly, and it was $800 cheaper than what PODS was going to charge it, and we would have had to unload the POD ourselves or paid even more to have them send movers out. They were careful with all furniture and boxes and were done sooner than expected! These men showed up when they said they would, did a walk through and gave me an estimate on how long it would take, got the job done in under 3 hours (estimated time), and were extremely professional during the process. I explained that my place was minimally furnished and the move was a short distance, so they came down on the price a bit for me. With the slow elevator at the first place, and the three flights of stairs at the new place, it took the movers much longer than anyone had anticipated. Hall Brothers did a fantastic job! They originally estimated the job would take between 6 and 7 hours. They completed the job in 5 hours, with total charges coming in at $540 (flat fee of $350 for two guys and the truck for 3 hours, and $95 each additional hour). Honestly, I was a bit skeptical of their "flat fee," very simplified quote process . . . another local moving company that gets reviewed well was very detailed with their quote and estimated 6-7 hours also, but their charge would have been $900. Turns out in this case quick and simple was the way to go! The two Hall Brothers movers, Antoine and Pedro were friendly and respectful. The company was communicative, confirming the move the day before by phone, and confirming they were on the way the morning of. They were careful moving items and wrapped tables, couches, mirrors etc. in blankets and cellophane to protect them. Only one item was damaged, a wheel broke off a small plastic organizer caddy (pretty inconsequential), and they informed me that they had broken this item (didn't try to hide it). Hall Brothers Moving made our local move in mid-November completely stress-free. They arrived 15 minutes early, which immediately set a positive tone for the day. The crew took time to assess all our rooms, boxes, and furniture before getting started, which showed great professionalism. Their efficiency was impressive - they loaded the truck like a game of Tetris! We had so many belongings that a second trip was necessary, but they handled it without any complaints. Most importantly, every single piece of furniture and box arrived at our new home (just 2 miles south) without a single dent, ding, or scratch. Pro tip: Make sure you have plenty of water or Gatorade on hand for the crew! I hired Hall Brothers Moving for a local residential move September 2020. From the initial call with David until the day of the move and the conclusion it was top notch and professional. David was very helpful and explained everything up front. The day of the move I received a call from Lance a hour before arrival confirming and letting me know they were on their way. He could tell my anxiety was through the roof with the move and reassured me everything would be fine. These guys worked so hard, kept a smile on their face, and were flexible given the changing circumstances of our move. The service elevator, which is conveniently located next to my apartment was broken... They had to move all of my belongings using the resident elevator (the same one as everyone in the building) to my apartment, which was across the complex. My family recently moved from a 3/2.5, two-story townhome in the Westchase area to a 4/3.5, two-story house in Lutz. Hall Brothers Moving sent 3 men who were kind, courteous, efficient, professional and prompt. They completed the entire move in just over 3 hours which cost me less than $400. They wrapped my furniture and even spent time removing feet from a large sectional in order to get it up the stairs of the new house to prevent potential damage to my newly painted walls. On 10/11/14 we had Deno, Vontae & Silk from Hall Brothers Moving move us from a second floor 3 bedroom condo to a second floor 3 bedroom apartment in 4 hours flat. They were the bomb!! They were very quick but very careful with our belongings but most of all they were super friendly ... it was an awesome experience. We have always moved ourselves, from now on it's Hall Brothers Moving and I am recommending them to everyone for small jobs to big jobs. And lets not forget Paula in the office ... she was such a joy to talk to and made hiring Hall Brothers Moving an easy decision ... she talked me through the process, made recommendations that made me feel comfortable not like she was trying to up sell me. These guys are the REAL DEAL. If you are looking for a moving company, Haul Brothers is the BEST. I’ve used them twice. Once a couple of years ago for a small move and again last week for a much bigger move from a home in Ybor to a third floor apartment in St. Pete. The move went flawlessly. Three strong guys arrived on time, hauled butt and completed the entire move in four hours. That includes travel time and they even wrapped every single piece of furniture. They even helped fix some IKEA furniture we had that was already broken. Besides that, they are a fun crew to work with. They are super friendly, play fun music and work with a smile on their faces. These men are quiet, strong and extremely helpful. I would recommend this company to anyone who values their furniture. I have heavy, expensive furniture that was treated with respect and care. The price is well worth it and about the same as others out there. Just FYI, your furniture may lose feet during a move depending on age. Just buy some self-adhesive felt pads and stack them wherever a foot is missing. See more See less
Have used Halls Brother since 2010 (I used to stage homes). They have always been professional and courteous. They wrap everything even though I didn't think it needed to be wrapped and go the extra mile. Everyone I have referred them to were more than pleased. I am going to be using them again next week.
